Cookie Policy

Last Updated: April 15, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Compliora AI uses cookies and similar technologies. By using our Website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this Policy, subject to your choices below.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember preferences, and collect information about usage. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage.

2. Who Places Cookies

NewFrame Legal LLC, operating Compliora AI at https://compliora.ai, is responsible for this Cookie Policy. Some cookies are placed by us directly (“first-party cookies”); others by our third-party service providers (“third-party cookies”).

3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Website to function. They cannot be switched off. No consent is required.

3.3 Analytics Storage (consent-based)

If you choose to accept analytics storage, the Website stores a randomly generated anonymous visitor identifier in your browser’s localStorage (key: rs_vid). This identifier is a first-party UUID used solely to measure how visitors move through our assessment funnel (e.g., how many visitors who land on the homepage eventually start an assessment). It is not a cookie, it is not shared with third parties, it does not allow cross-site tracking, and it contains no personal data. This storage is only activated after you grant consent via the cookie banner or the preference manager below. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). You can withdraw consent at any time using the preference manager — on withdrawal, the identifier is immediately deleted from your browser.

Regardless of consent, our server also records minimal page-view metadata for security monitoring and aggregate usage statistics: the page path, referring URL, country of origin (derived from Cloudflare infrastructure — your IP address is never stored), and a timestamp. This server-side data does not involve any storage on your device and is therefore outside the scope of Article 5(3) ePrivacy Directive. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in security monitoring and aggregate usage analysis (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.4 Cookies and Tracking We Do NOT Use

Compliora AI does not use: advertising or targeting cookies; cross-site tracking pixels; social media tracking; Google Analytics or other third-party analytics providers; or any tracking based on profiling of sensitive personal data.

4. Your Cookie Preferences

Manage your preferences below. Strictly necessary storage cannot be disabled. You can toggle analytics storage on or off at any time — disabling it deletes the anonymous visitor identifier from your browser.

5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies through your browser settings:

Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the Website’s functionality or prevent access to completed assessments.

6. Do Not Track

There is currently no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track (DNT) signals. The Website does not respond to DNT signals. Use the preference manager above to control non-essential cookies independently of your browser’s DNT setting.

7. Legal Basis

You may withdraw consent at any time using the preference manager above or by clearing cookies in your browser.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie consent banner on your next visit.
